Harnessing Energy with the BBA MPS150E Mobile Power System

Temporary pumping often results in wasted energy as water is simply diverted or removed. BBA Pumps’ MPS150E turns that problem into a solution by recovering this unused energy and converting it into usable electricity, helping reduce environmental impact while powering your site.

How It Works

• Energy Generation: The MPS150E converts the potential and kinetic energy from water flows into mechanical energy via a turbine. A high-efficiency generator then transforms this into electrical energy.
• Test Results: During factory tests with a flow rate of 450 m³/hour, the MPS150E generated up to 7 kWh (25 MJ) of energy.
• Energy Use: The generated energy can be returned to the network, used to charge battery packs, or power electric pumps.
