Peristaltic pumps move thick slurries by compressing a flexible hose with rotating rollers. This creates a seal that pushes the slurry forward.
This design allows the pump to more efficiently handle highly viscous materials and slurries with solid particles. Prime Fluid Management supplies peristaltic pumps to the quarrying and mining industry for dewatering, slurry transfer and tailings management.
